Supplemental Rules

a. The 2010 AMA Racing Ice Race Grand Championships will be governed by the 2009 AMA Racing Rulebook.
b. It is the rider's responsibility to enter the proper class. Failure to do so will result in the loss of all points earned.
c. All riders will be eligible to earn a maximum of three classes for the meet (not per day). Including Kold Kutter Classes.

d. A minimum of five riders in a class is required in order for National Champions to be declared.
e. Classes with less that 5 riders will run for meet awards only.

Eligibility

a. Riders must be members of the AMA in order to register for the event. Membership will be sold at Registration.

b. Professionally licensed riders are NOT permitted to compete for any championships at the AMA Racing Ice Race Grand Championships. Professionally licensed riders are only permitted in any promoter offered exhibition class, i.e. Kold Kutter Shoot-Out). Professionally licensed riders may not compete in any support classes.

Awards

All AMA Racing Ice Race Championship and Support classes will offer top ten finishing positions a trophy award.

All AMA Racing Ice Race Championship and Support classes will offer top three finishing positions a special commemorative number plate.

Kold Kutter classes will pay back $10,000.00 in cash divided among the two classes, $7,500 to the Open Class and $2,500 to the 250-450 Class. Please see racer registration the day of the event for further details. Both of these classes will race on Sunday only.

  • 2:00pm- Grooming
  • 2:15pm- Main events
  • 4:00pm- Racing ends
  • Sunday 1/24
  • 6am- End of race day- Race gate entrance
